Within 4-7 days, elastic separators will create sufficient room between your teeth for orthodontic bands or an appliance!
Please avoid chewy and sticky foods which might dislodge these separators. Brush
carefully and avoid use of dental floss in these areas temporarily while they are in
place.
Occasionally teeth become slightly tender after separators are placed. If you do
experience any discomfort using Tylenol® or acetaminophen is recommended.
